Brandon and Tracy Shupe have been photographing seniors, school portraits, families, sports teams, weddings, and events since 2007 with their other photography business Snaptive photo + effects. In December of 2018, they purchased Silhouette Photography. Silhouette Photography has been providing beautiful photography and outstanding customer service to Tucson Families and high-school seniors for the last 35 years, and Tracy and Brandon are excited to carry on this tradition.

Tracy Shupe is a native of Tucson and a graduate of Sabino High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Arizona in 2001. Tracy taught first-grade for six years in the Tucson Unified School District, before starting her first photography company, Snaptive photo + effects with her husband Brandon Shupe.

Brandon Shupe moved from Nebraska to Tucson in 1986. He graduated in 1992 from Sahuaro High School where he was a wrestler and John Philip Sousa award winning saxophonist. Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona in 1998, where he developed his skills as a graphic designer and earned an award for outstanding computer aided design. Out of necessity for his design work, Brandon began photographing for clients in 2005. Photography became his passion, and he started Snaptive photo + effects in 2007, with his wife Tracy.

Tracy and Brandon have two children, Parker and Kylee. Both children play multiple instruments and enjoy bodybuilding. Parker graduated in 2022 and is now a general manager at LA Fitnesss in Tucson. Kylee is a junior in high school and loves marching band and reading books.
